Osama bin Laden has got a successor.
At least temporarily. The terrorist network Al Qaeda has chosen Saif al-Adel, a former Egyptian military officer.
Osama bin Laden was killed May 2 this year, almost ten years after the terrorist attack on 11th September 2001. Now al-Qaeda chose an interim leader.
His name is Saif al-Adel and described as a strategist and experienced military leader of al-Qaeda. He has fought against the Soviets in Afghanistan in the 1980's before he fled to Iran after the fall of the Taliban 2001. His location are unknown, but he is believed to be somewhere in Pakistan.
